Welcome to Debutniverse! On this site, I look through various different 1980s-90s children's cartoons, I watch just the first episode, and then I post a summary with my thoughts. This isn't a review blog - I'm terrible at giving numerical ratings and things like that, and I much prefer to enthuse about the parts I enjoy rather than whine about the parts I don't like. So it's mainly an excuse for me to watch a bunch of cartoons and then ramble as much as I like!
Some notes on how the episodes are chosen:
-
The list is in a semi-randomised order, and currently only contains shows from the UK, the USA, and Canada. Other countries could potentially be added in the future, but the list is already so long that I'm in no rush to make it any longer.

I've tried to use my best judgement in cases where "first episode" is ambiguous. I ignore pilots that are separate from the main series, if multiple orders are given then I pick the most logical one, and if the series is alternately shown in either "multiple shorts" format or as standalone shorts then I base it on whichever format I can actually find. That said, it's pretty impossible to make a definitive ruling on these things, so I don't mind too much if it turns out I've been inconsistent.
